Construction in the Final Stretch

With the Northwestern University fall quarter starting in one month (September 20th), we are happy to report that our two residence hall renovations with the University are nearly complete. 

Shepard Hall will be the home for 153 students and 1838 Chicago Ave will welcome 120 students.

Julianne discussed the future of libraries with other architects and library professionals at the AIA Chicago Community Interface Committee panel Thursday evening at the new Chicago Public Library Chinatown Branch.  Panelists considered where more integrated technologies will lead public libraries and if there is a place for prototypes in library design.

Nagle Hartray Architecture is being recognized with the 2015 Historic Preservation Award for Rehab and Adaptive Reuse for the outstanding preservation of the Cheney Mansion Greenhouse by the Oak Park Historic Preservation Commission.   


560 Lincoln Groundbreaking

The Nagle Hartray team joined Northwestern University administrators, trustees and students for the groundbreaking of 560 Lincoln, the first residence hall to be constructed following the Northwestern University new Housing Mater Plan. The suite-style room arrangement will accommodate 422 students in this 7 and 4 story building.
